Stealing shoes

I remember a story where a young dog was brought to the shelter because he stole his owners shoe. I was disgusted. Dogs love shoes because they smell most like their owners. This dog loved its family too much and was abandoned for it. River here found an old boot in my closet last week and she hasn't put it down once. It sleeps in our bed with us too. And I love it because I know it gives her comfort. Let your dogs show you they love you. Even if it inconveniences you.
